

The weather is abruptly changing it's stormy mind once again.

Note the yellow layers in the rock. As we continued on our journey we found more and more bright yellow in the cliffs of the Jemez range.

This may be our latest favorite campground.

Valles Caldera, once thought to be the largest volcanic crater on earth. This is just a tiny bit of it. It nearly became subdivisions.
Clinton designated it as a protected area in 2000. I saw a herd of antelope in it about two miles beyond this point.

We're on the other side of the Rio Grande looking toward our mountain. See that tiny bit of snow on top, way in the distance? That's where we live.
