Here's the first necklace. This has to come apart and go back together with the right sort of wire, but it turned out quite close to what I had in mind. All in all I'm pleased with it. Looks good on, too.

Remember a while back when we thought we could hike up to Leonardo Lakes cause it was only a mile and a half? This is Rio Leonardo and the trail is whichever side of the river you prefer to climb up. (I know it looks like a creek, but not here. It's a river.) Don't see the trail? You know what they say. If you can't see the trail then go make one of your own.

Another section of the Rio Leonardo.

A recent bit of snow on my beloved mountain.

An adobe in Dixon we liked. People live here. Surprisingly more people than one might think live in adobes in this condition. This isn't really considered "bad condition" it's considered "in need of plastering."

After our crazy hail storm and the sky was dark as night (we had settled into indoor activities already) we looked out the window at a weird bright light shining on the trees. We couldn't figure out what it was. UFO? It was the sun!! Not set, as we'd thought, but shining under the storm cloud making a full-on double rainbow. It was awesome. This photo doesn't even begin to convey the event but it's all we've got.

Another view.

That's it for this week's Photo Phriday. Enjoy your weekend!

Cheers!
